I am a Product Design student at Parsons School of Design in New York, but I grew up in Switzerland, surrounded by calm landscapes that helped me develop independence and curiosity from a young age. Moving to the vibrant energy of New York was a turning point, it gave me the space to explore my creativity in a fast-paced and inspiring city. Parsons has been the perfect place to experiment with different mediums and sharpen my skills, giving me hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and techniques.
I’m especially drawn to furniture design, but I love exploring all kinds of materials to expand my practice. Wood and metal have particularly captured my attention. Working in Parsons’ open workshops allows me to bring my ideas to life, transforming sketches into tangible pieces. There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing a concept evolve under your hands into something you can touch and interact with.
Looking ahead, I hope to graduate with more than just design skills. I want to carry a mindset that blends creativity, craftsmanship and versatility. Every piece I create is a window into how I see the world.
